What is SocietyByte?
SocietyByte is the e-newspaper for the Bern University of Applied Science’s Humane Digital Transformation program. It publishes articles about how digital topics touch our lives. Since I joined the Bern University of Applied Science I have been publishing articles on this site.
Why do I publish with other authors instead of publishing alone?
Whenever possible I enjoy writing articles with other people. In large part, this is due to my earlier career as a research physicist where I was under pressure to publish – a lot – and this led to writing burn out. If I write something, I want to have fun. And for me the best way to have fun is to work with other people. I already know what my own ideas are like — by working with other people there is an intellectual and creative exchange that takes place, and in a nutshell: it’s just fun!
