So you can imagine how I felt when I first encountered Srirangapatna in Southern India.
It was once home to the Kingdom of Tipu Sultan, center of a vast dynasty across Southern India. To be here then was to be at the seat of power, side to side with the movers and shakers of society, truly to be in the company of giants.
